Administrative Assistant

Lean On Us Unity Child care Center Lean On Us Unity Child care Center Oxon Hill, MD Oxon Hill, MD Full-time Full-time $14 - $15 an hour $14 - $15 an hour Provides guidance and support to Teachers and Management staff in the Center in addition to modeling the company standard for family services and with a high level of confidentiality.
Executes a variety of management requests and/or acts as a liaison between staff and upper management.
Maintains personnel files with required employment documents, including performance and attendance records in accordance with company retention protocols.
Performs annual filing update at the end of each season.
Performs administrative tasks, such as mail distribution, data entry of employment data in a variety of computer systems, researches inquiries of employment data following established policies and procedures.
Emails, copies, scans, and faxes documents.
Assists with projects, as assigned by management, including, but not limited to, office supply inventory, personnel file reviews, employment reports, and recognition programs.
Maintains cleanliness and safety in work area and performs all duties in compliance with LOUUCC Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.
Aides to fosters a positive work environment by assisting team members as well as families with tasks and requests, as needed.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
