Two to three sentences describing the overall purpose of the job Inspect and troubleshoot problems associated with guestrooms, Hotel public space and back of the house space as required by the Building Maintenance Department.
Make necessary repairs in a quality manner to ensure minimum down time, guest comfort and safety.

Responsibilities:
Maximum of ten responsibilities, in order of percentage of time spent on function from longest to shortest; do not list anything that does not represent at least 10% of the job's time.
Please include supervisory responsibilities.
1.
Inspect, troubleshoot and repair ceiling tile and grid, floor tile, doors, keys, locks, plumbing, electrical and other related repairs inpublic and guest areas and repairs issued through work orders.
2.
Perform preventive maintenance inspections and repairs in guest rooms and public space.
3.
Make plumbing and HVAC repairs in guestrooms and public space.
4.
Construct and maintain partition walls and drapes found in guestrooms and stage drapes in public space.
5.
Take care of fountains and swimming pools.
Take pool readings.
6.
Make roof and skylight repairs.
7.
Maintain all wood items.
8.
Maintain all public and back of the house restroom plumbing, grout, marble repair, ceramic tile, partitions, and stall doors.
9.
Maintain and repair interior and exterior brick and brick pavers, concrete, fireplace brick and stone, outside walks, curbing, and asphalt.
10.
Exercise knowledge of occupational hazards, right-to-know law (MSDS), and safety precautions.
11.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Job
Qualifications:
Describe the minimum qualifications needed to complete the job responsibilities.
Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience Minimum four years experience in building trades.
Knowledge of materials, methods, and principles used in a variety of construction andmaintenance repairs.
Ability to read blueprints and troubleshoot.
Skilled in operation of related tools and equipment.
Communicationsskills needed.

) Licenses/Certifications Valid TN driver's license is required.

Salary:
$20 per hour.
