Overview. ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities Administers, organizes and conducts employee training programs to include but not limited to tactics and firearms. Supports the development and delivery of training programs. Administers written and practical examinations. Participates in needs analysis studies. Monitors training results through employee progress and maintains records of training attendance to determine program effectiveness. Participates as subject matter expert in Job Task Analysis preparation. Tests and evaluates new equipment. Evaluates site training plans/drills. Serves as subject matter expert for assigned courses. Serves as role player/controller for limited scope performance test and force on force exercises. Serves as a safety officer as required. Performs other duties as requested. QualificationsEducation/Experience High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of four years' experience as an instructor in a law enforcement or Military related discipline. Ability to successfully complete of drug screening requirements. Ability to obtain and maintain any state license required. Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Driver's License. NRA Weapons Instructor, MD, VA and/or DC Weapons Instructor experience Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Accountability-Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions.
