IT Project Manager

Job DescriptionWhat You'll Get to Do:
IT Project Managers are responsible for the performance of technical projects in accordance with Statement of Work requirements.
PMs oversee a variety of technical IT projects of varying size and complexity including office network buildouts, infrastructure and hardware deployment, system integration, physical moves and software development.
Candidates will manage the technical direction of projects through all phases; initiation, planning, requirements design, implementation, and testing in accordance with project objectives.
More About the Role:

Responsible for the planning, management, coordinating and executing of project activities.

Provides leadership to a cross-functional technical team to achieve project objectives.

Responsible for the creation of project deliverables (project plan, requirements, roadmaps, etc.
).

Works cooperatively with engineering leads to plan and direct project tasks.

Oversees individual operational projects from identification of requirements, analysis and design, development, end-user testing, deployment and production support.

Manage project risks and issues and implement corrective actions.

Provide Rough Order Magnitude (ROM) for project tasks.

Create and maintain detailed project schedules.

Establish working relationship with project sponsors and stakeholders.

Ensure adherence to the customer's Systems Engineering Life Cycle (SELC) process through all project phases (planning, requirements definition, design, development, integration, test, implementation).

Communicates effectively with a wide variety of technical and non-technical audiences.
You'll Bring These
Qualifications:

Requires bachelor's degree or equivalent and eight years of project management experience in a technical environment.

Ability to work independently with little direction, supervision, and management oversight.

Ability to obtain a DHS Entrance on Duty (EOD).

Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.

Experience with Microsoft Project.

Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
